Hey there,
I'm Cyndi!
Let's be friends!

I was born and raised in Barboursville. At the age of 14, I put my faith and trust in the Lord and accepted Him as my Savior. In true girly fashion, I remember everything about that day, including the songs sung during the service, what I was wearing, and how I had styled my hair. I also remember walking away feeling like I was floating on air. And I love telling everyone I was baptized in a creek!

After graduating from Cabell Midland High School, I went on to Marshall University. In 2007, I married my wonderful husband Bill, and we trusted the Lord to give us a family. Little did we know He would bless us with eight amazing kids who bring us so much life, joy, and personality! We currently live on a farm Out Wayne, where we homeschool and raise goats, chickens, quail, rabbits, and bees.

First and foremost, I am a child of the King, a wife, and a mom. My husband and I serve as our church's junior church leaders, and I also teach Sunday School, illustrate our children's lessons, write the daily devotions used for our children's program, and sing as a vocal soloist.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, watching videos about hairstyling, roller coasters, and cats, and treating every day as if I am living a real-life Disney musical by making up songs about my family. I also work full-time as a media consultant for a communications/public relations firm based in Columbus. While I have previous experience in cheer, tumbling, and some dance, I started taking ballet classes as an adult to show that this old dog CAN learn new tricks.

My husband and I seek out activities that bring peace to our lives. All four of my daughters are involved in Heartwork, a family activity we cherish. It is such a joy to be surrounded by like-minded Christ followers while having fun and doing something we can enjoy together.

One of my favorite verses is Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." I couple it with Proverbs 23:7, which states: "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:..."

I strive to put this into practice with everything I bring into my own life and to my family.

Living by faith, embracing family, and finding joy in every moment—that's my journey, and I love every step of it!
